Other things to take note of are that Diriamba is close to the beaches of Carazo, specifically Huehuete and La Bocita. Also, La Colonia grocery store just opened up a large store that is a 5-minute drive, and a 2-minute drive to the local market, and 10 drive to Sinsa, the Ace Hardware type of store.
Managua can be reached in less than 40 minutes via the new 4-lane highway towards Leon. Granada can be reached in 45 minutes, also on a new 4-lane highway to Nandiame.
